Camelot Homes Unveils Plans for Luxury Community in Peoria’s Saddleback Development

Modern house with large windows, an outdoor seating area with a fire pit, and a swimming pool at sunset under a partly cloudy sky.

Scottsdale-based family-owned luxury homebuilder, Camelot Homes, is planning a new luxury community in Peoria, within Castle Hill Partners’ new 5,300-acre development called Saddleback.

Designed for adventure seekers and those drawn to the serenity of the Sonoran Desert, Saddleback offers an unbeatable location just northwest of Phoenix. With Lake Pleasant Regional Park just five minutes away, residents will enjoy abundant outdoor recreation and easy access to Arizona’s top destinations, including Sedona, Jerome, Prescott, Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon, and Lake Mead.

Camelot plans to initially build 19 homes with native desert views in a gated portion of the Saddleback community. The homes will range in size from approximately 3,000 – 5,500 square feet, with an average lot size of approximately 1/3 acre in this West Valley community, located just minutes from some of Arizona’s largest employment hubs, including BNSF Industrial Park, TSMC Arizona, and soon, Amkor.

“We’re looking forward to expanding our footprint and offering our award-winning homes in the West Valley,” said Camelot Homes Managing Director and Co-owner Julie Hancock. “Peoria is experiencing incredible growth, and we’re seeing increased interest in luxury homes in the area. The lush desert surroundings at Saddleback, with thousands of saguaro cacti and over 2,500 acres of open space, is exactly the kind of setting we look for when selecting locations for new Camelot communities.”

Construction and sales are slated to begin in 2026, with further details available in Q4 2025.

“Camelot’s exceptional craftsmanship and luxury custom home designs are a perfect complement to the natural beauty of the Sonoran Mountain landscape at Saddleback. Their commitment to quality and innovation seamlessly aligns with our vision of offering an extraordinary lifestyle,” added Carlee Ryan, VP of Asset Management at Castle Hill Partners. “We can’t wait for future residents to experience the beauty and sophistication of their homes firsthand.”
